I couldn't see any references to the TCW version of the witches though their was a reference to the sith training ground from the Bane books. I was looking forward to Raynar's "You're locked in here with me" comment though it was more like "I'm injured, haven't sparred in a while, so I must be weak right?"Īs always I'm happy to see Dathomir and the force witches. Something that shocked me was the Mandalorian attack on the temple because it happened earlier than I thought it did. His characters were smart and snappy at all the right times, the fights were well described and fun to read, and despite a few plot contrivances (like the skywalkers/solos landing their ships to take speeders instead of just flying) it went smoothly.
It was Allston so it was going to be good of course. Not to the point of a random comedy episode in the middle of a dark arc but it still felt a bit smaller than the last one. Really it just felt like of like a breather. I liked it, it took place on one of my favorite planets and some things happened but their isn't really anything huge worth talking about or that changed how I saw the series. But two other former Rogues/Wraiths) and unlike the last one I really don't have a ton to say about this one. The fourth book and second Allston book (only one reference to Corran Horn in the book.
